ARTICLE II. Sprinklers and Alarms Bond
09:50[Special Warrant Article: Sprinklers and Alarms Bond.] Shall the School District vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $1,309,000 (gross budget) for the purpose of Updating and Installing Sprinklers and Alarms at Memorial, Peter Woodbury and McKelvie Intermediate Schools and to authorize the issuance of not more than $1,309,000 of bonds or notes under and in accordance with the provisions of | Finance Act (RSA 33); to authorize the school board to apply for, obtain and accept federal, state or other aid, if any, which may be available for said project and to comply with all laws applicable to said project; and to authorize the school board to issue, negotiate, sell and deliver such bonds or notes and to determine the rate of interest thereon and the maturity and other terms thereof; and to authorize the school board to take any other action or to pass any other vote relative thereto; and further, to raise and appropriate the sum of $21,390 for the first year's interest payment? ARTICLE III. Negotiated agreement
15:54[Negotiated agreement with the custodial and maintenance staff.] Shall the School District vote to approve the cost items included in the three-year collective bargaining agreement between the Bedford School District and the Bedford Educational Support Staff Association, NEA/NH for the 2020/2021, 2021/2022, and 2022/2023 school years, which resulted from negotiations with the custodial and maintenance staff and which calls for the following net changes in salaries, fringe benefits, and other cost items at the current staffing levels: Year 2020/21 2021/22 2022/23 Estimated Cost $ 50,715 $ 49,553 $ 58,203 and further to raise and appropriate the sum of Fifty Thousand, Seven Hundred and Fifteen Dollars ($50,715) to fund those additional cost items related to the first year which represents the negotiated changes from the 2019/2020 salaries, fringe benefits, and other cost items at the current staffing levels? This special warrant article will be a non-lapsing appropriation per RSA 32:3 VI (d) and RSA 32:7 VI. (The school board has voted unanimously to recommend this question.) ARTICLE VIII. Operating budget
31:12[Operating budget.] Shall the School District vote to raise and appropriate as an operating budget, not including other appropriations voted separately in Article II, Article III, Article V and Article VII the amounts set forth on the budget posted with the warrant or as amended by vote of the first session, for the purposes set forth therein, totaling Seventy-Seven Million, Seven Hundred and Five Thousand, Nine Hundred Thirty-Three Dollars ($77,705,933)? [Should this Article VIll be defeated, the operating budget shall be Seventy-Six Million, Five Hundred Fourteen Thousand, Two Hundred Fifty-Eight Dollars ($76,514,258) which is the same as last year, with certain adjustments required by previous action of the school district or by law, or the governing body may hold one special meeting, in accordance with RSA 40:13, X and XVI, to take up the issue of a revised operating budget only.) ARTICLE IX. Acceptance of gifts
