Comments or Written Statements from the Public
01:27Citizen participation can occur in two ways: a. Written comments can be submitted directly to the School Board at bedfordschoolboard@sau25.net or by using the link below: ? School Board Comments and Questions Form b. Comments can be made in person during the designated time for public comments. The following procedures pertain to public participation at Board meetings: – Written or oral statements can take up to 2 to 3 minutes per speaker. – An individual desiring to speak shall give his/her name, address, and the group, if any, that is represented. – The School Board will not hear personal complaints of school personnel nor against any person connected with the school system. – Unless an answer to a question is provided in the Board’s written policies or in established regulations, the Board will not respond to the request at the same meeting, nor will it take action on a proposed recommendation, but shall defer the item to a later meeting.
