Building Principals will present the Board with updated handbooks for the 2024/25 school year

Superintendent Fournier will ask the Board to urgently adopt the following policies, utilizing the authority granted by Board policy BGB. ● Draft Policy AC: Nondiscrimination, Equal Opportunity Employment an District Anti-Discrimination Plan ● Draft Policy AC-R (2): Nondiscrimination, Equal Opportunity Employment, and Anti-Discrimination Plan - Annual Notice of Contact Information ● Draft Policy ACA:Discrimination and Harassment Grievance Procedure ● Draft Policy ACAC: Title IX Prohibition of Sex Discrimination and Sex-Based Harassment: Policy and Grievance Procedure Superintendent Fournier will present the Board with a first read of the following draft policies for their feedback. ● Draft Policy ACE: Procedural Safeguards: Nondiscrimination on the Basis of Disability ● Draft Policy ACF: Food and Nutrition Services: Anti-Discrimination and Civil Rights Complaints ● Draft Policy JLDBB: Suicide Prevention and Response Plan Policies to be withdrawn: ● With the adoption of ACA, AC-R can be withdrawn ● Policy KED: Public Concerns/Complaints about Facilities and Services Grievance Procedure (Section 504) (see policy ACA above) Assistant Superintendent Laliberte will present the Board with a second read of the draft Homework policy for their feedback. ● Draft Policy IKB: Homework (IKB-R to be withdrawn)
